- It took place in the city of Lodz on May 14 (26), 1878 at 7 o'clock in the afternoon. Paulina Hecke, an adult midwife from Balut, appeared in the presence of Anthony Yakenbovsky and Theodor Levitsky, weavers living in Balut, and presented us with a female child born in the same place on May 08 (20) this year at 09 o'clock in the morning from Wilhelmina Rosentreter of an unmarried daymaid from Balut 26 years old from an unknown father. This baby was given the name Anna in holy baptism, performed today, and his successors were Anthony Jakubovsky and Agnieszka Levitskaya. This act was read aloud to those present and signed only by me, since they are illiterate.
