Cheryl J. (Kure) Rosentreter, 51, of Eau Claire, died Sunday at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1947 in Chippewa County, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Brackett) Kure. She grew up in the Town of Arthur and attended Cadott area schools and graduated from North High School in Eau Claire.
Cheryl married James L. Rosentreter on June 7, 1984 and they lived in Eau Claire.
She is survived by a sister, Cindy Kure of Kailua Kona, Hawaii; a brother, Rudy Kure of Oak Creek; stepmother Nel (Alvin) LaNou of Cadott; nieces Angelia and Trisha Kure; and mother-in-law Ruby Wallerman of Tomah.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and husband James.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott with Pastor Brett Brauer officiating. Spring burial will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery in the Town of Arthur. Friends may call at the Leiser Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until time of services.
