ROSENTRETER James L. Rosentreter, 57, of 1026 W. MacArthur Avenue, Apt. #25, Eau Claire, died Monday, October 6, 1997, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born April 25, 1940, in Wauwatosa. He grew up in the Tomah area and served in the U.S. Navy. James married Cheryl Kure on June 7, 1984, in Eau Claire. He lived in the Eau Claire area for the past 18 years. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and loved to watch the Green Bay Packers. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl of Eau Claire; his mother, Ruby Wallerman of Tomah; a daughter, Tammie Graham of Canyon Country, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Rudy Kane of Oak Creek; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Kure of Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Wallerman. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 10, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with Pastor Brett Brauer officiating. Burial was at the Bohemian National Cemetery in rural Cadott. Pallbearers were Alvin LaNou, Larry LaNou, Bob Moucha, Robert Webb, Greg Linnell and Mark Rice.
