Nell Rosentreter
Nell Rosentreter, 85, passed away July 29, 2011, in LaPorte, Ind.
She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Martinsville, Ill., and was a resident of Pahrump for 20 years, having come from Las Vegas.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Pahrump.
Surviving are her daughters Pam (Rick) Rosentreter of Pahrump and Teri (Jim) Brock of Grovertown, Ind.; sisters Janette Clark of LaPorte and Norma (Robert) Litteral of Shelbyville, Ill.; brother Jay (Barbara) Kelley of LaPorte; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Richard Rosentreter and husband of 38 years, Alvin Leeds.
Services were held Aug. 2 in Laporte. (07/29/2011)

Nell Leeds-Rosentreter, 85, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 1 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2011, in her daughter's home.
Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Road, La Porte, is caring for the arrangements.
She was born October 5, 1925, in Martinsville, Illinois to Dailey E. and Cecil (Deahl) Kelley.
. Rosentreter worked for American Rubber Corporation in La Porte for 20 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in La Porte and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
On June 5, 1945, in La Porte, Indiana, she married Alvin K. Leeds. He preceded her in death in May 1983.
On October 5, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Richard B. Rosentreter. He preceded her in death in July 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Richard) Rosentreter of Pahrump, Nevada, and Teri (James) Brock of Grovertown, Indiana; three grandchildren, Greg Rosentreter, Shelley (Preston) Beaumont, and Daniel (Jayna) Rosentreter; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jay (Barbara) Kelley of La Porte; two sisters, Janette Clark of La Porte and Norma (Bob) Litteral of Lake Shelbyville, Illinois.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Road, La Porte with Pastor Curtis Southwood officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
