Rosentreter, 66, of Carlinville died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at his home. He was born May 10, 1939, in Carlinville, the son of Victor A. and Stella Mae Kalaher Rosentreter. He married Theresa M. Bellm in 1960 in Carlinville. Mr. Rosentreter was a lifelong farmer in the Carlinville area. He was a member of Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville, Macoupin County Pork Producers, Macoupin Agricultural Antique Association and Macoupin County Farm Bureau. Survivors: wife, Theresa; three sons, David and Gregory (wife, Carol) Rosentreter, both of Gillespie, and Larry (wife, Lisa) Rosentreter of Carlinville; two daughters, Janice (husband, Eric) Neumann of Palmerston North, New Zealand, and Margory Rice of Carlinville; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald E. (wife, Fran) and John R. (wife, Marla) Rosentreter, both of Carlinville; sister, Linda M. (husband, Veryl) Reiher of Carlinville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Ss. Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Carlinville, the Rev. George Morelock officiating. Burial: New Calvary Cemetery, Carlinville.
