She died at the age of 54. According to St. Louis Death Records, Henrietta died from cancer of the face and neck.
Translation of the Hebrew text on her grave marker:
"Here lies Gittel daughter of R' Meir, she passed, with a good name, on 6 Sivan, 5668."

BRASCH - Entered into rest on Tuesday, June 2, 1908, at 4 p.m. Henrietta Brasch (nee Rosentreter), dearly beloved mother of Hsanna, Isador, Samuel Meyer, Moritz Gerson Brasch and Freda Eisenkramer (nee Brasch), daughter of . Frumet Rosentreter.
Funeral Thursday morning, June 4, at 9 o'clock from residence, 4227 Evans Avenue. Please omit flowers.
