Gottfried Rosentreter, a 24-year-old worker here, came.
In the presence of witnesses: Julius Neiman, 39 years old and Ivan Shaks, 32 years old, both local workers, he showed us a female baby born in Lodz on November 13 (25) this year at 4 a.m. from his wife Rosalia née Hirt, 20 years old.
At holy baptism performed today, this baby was given the name Matilda, and the aforementioned witnesses and Louis Neumann were the recipients. The deed was signed only by the first witness and pastor.

- This happened in Lodz on October 23 (November 04) 1882 at 6 pm. They came: Gottfried Rosentreter a day laborer 25 years old and Gottfried Schulz a locksmith 32 years old, both local residents and told us that YESTERDAY at 10 o'clock in the evening in Lodz, Matilda Rosentreter died 11 months old, the daughter of the aforementioned Gottfried Rosentreter and his wife Rosalia nee Geert, born in Lodz. This act was read aloud and signed only by me as those present are illiterate.
