  Notes	https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/47077046/gus-august-rosentreader Gus August Rosentreader Gus August Rosentreader, son of Lewis and Mary Rosentreader was born in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life August 19, 1941 at his home in Ansley at the age of 71 years. When a small boy he came to McCook, Nebraska where he grew to man-hood. On November 8, 1894 he was united in marriage to Gertie A. Smith. Ten children were born to this union, four boys and six girls. Nina aged 28, Eva 4, Elry 9 months, and one infant son preceded him in death. In March 1908 he with his family moved to a farm west of Ansley where he lived until last December when because of failing health he moved to Ansley. Mr. Rosentreader was raised in the Lutheran faith but after coming to Ansley he united with the Baptist Church and was a member until his death. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife and six children. . Gladys Seeger of Plainview Ark, Melvin L. of Scotts Bluff, Loren K. of Ansley, Leona Drake of Lona Beach California, Anna Anderson of Milburn and Leta Davis of Pismo Beach California, Twenty two grand-children and six great grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church in Ansley on Friday afternoon August 22. Rev. Edward G. Whale pastor of the Westerville Methodist Church was in charge of the services. Interment was in the Ansley cemetery. Among those from out-of-town to attend the funeral were: . Leta Davis and daughter, Mildred of Pismo Beach, California; .
