- It took place in the city of Lodz in the parish of the Holy Cross on August 5 (July 24) 1889 at 6 o'clock in the afternoon. In the presence of witnesses August Brasr and Józef Groman, adults, weavers from Lodz, a religious marriage was concluded today between Wilhelm Rosentreter, 32 years old, a single, weaver living in Lodz, who was born in Aleksandrow of the local district, the son of the deceased Andrei and his wife Carolina nee Gagloiv, and Amalia Steineicker, a maid born and living with her parents in Lodz, daughter of Ludwik and his wife Maria, nee Breuer (Brejer), 22 years old. This religious ceremony was performed by the priest Józef Mrozowski on the basis of the permission of the Archbishop of Warsaw dated July 6 of this year for a barchelor is of the Lutheran religion. This act was read aloud to those present, since everyone is illiterate.
