Rosentreter, 86, formerly of Stanton Heights, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Duisburg, Germany, a daughter of the late Frederich Spaniel and Wilhelmina Ruffell. She was a homemaker. Prior to her marriage and coming to the United States, she was a self-employed nanny in Germany. She also worked for 20 years as a cable factory worker in Germany. She is survived by her husband, Alfred A. Rosentreter; two daughters, Ellen (Raymond) Mazzoni, of Bethel Park, and Susan (Louis III) Arraujo, of Butler; five granddaughters, Christin Arraujo, Dana (James Jr.) Laskowski, Lisa Arraujo and Nicole and Elena Mazzoni; and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Arraujo and Cameron Laskowski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers in Germany. Visitation will be private. A private funeral service will be Thursday in Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Pastor Blair Morgan officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Royal Cemetery mausoleum. Arrangements by the KYPER FUNERAL HOME, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Shaler. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 555 Smithfield St., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
