Rosentreter, Sarah 92 Feb. 28, 1919 Aug. 27, 2011 "The best mom we ever had" was born in Washougal, Wash., the 10th of 11 children. At 92 she had outlived all her siblings, which was never in her plans. In 1940 Sarah married Robert, whom she met in first grade. In 1970, after nearly 30 years on Francis Street in Portland, they moved to Boring, where Robert died in 1999. Sarah was able to live independently in her own home until the very end. She died peacefully at home with her family by her side. Sarah is survived by her children, Michael Rosentreter and his wife, Pam; Lynne Senn and her husband, Stan; Ann Rosentreter; Steven Rosentreter and his wife, Trish; Carol Majerak; and Lisa Brawley and her husband, Ken; grand-children, Debbie, Scott, Sarah, Amy, Stephen, Colleen and Jenna; and four great-grand-children. At her request, no service will be held. She will be buried with Robert in Willamette National Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Portland Adventist Hospice.
