Ruby Esther Rosentreter Bullard
Ruby Esther Rosentreter Bullard, 88, of Hamilton, passed away Feb. 24, 2008, in the Hamilton General Hospital. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Feb. 27, at the St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton with Pastor Russell Nebhut officiating. Burial followed in the New I.O.O.F Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton.
. Bullard was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Aleman, Texas, to the late Mr. and . August and Agnes Rosentreter. She married Floyd Alton Bullard on Dec. 13, 1942, in Dallas. Ruby was a dedicated member of the St. John Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. Ruby loved gardening, sewing and fishing with her sister Paula. Ruby was a homemaker and worked for many years at a dairy and as a nursing home assistant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Alton Bullard; her sister, Paula Griffee; and her son-in-law, Ronald Eary.
Ruby was survived by three daughters, Barbara Wood and her husband, Barry of Pottsboro, Texas, Annette Eary and friend, Wayne Martin of Gatesville, and Ava Knapek of Waco; two grandchildren, Bryan Wood and his wife, Leslie of Cooper, Texas, and Justin Eary and his wife, Tamela of Turnersville, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Arlie Wood, Heidi Wood and Denver Wood; two sisters, Estelle Manthei of Waco, and Odella Markwardt of Granbury, Texas.
