Eda Helen Schrank was baptized February 13, 1898, and she was confirmed March 31, 1912, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aleman, Hamilton County, Texas.
Eda Schrank married Julius Ernest Rosentreter on October 24, 1917, in Aleman, Hamilton County, Texas. They were only married 17 years at Julius' death. Julius and Eda had no children.

OBITUARY FROM THE HAMILTON HERALD-NEWS: . Rosentreter
. Eda Helen Rosentreter, 81, passed away at Leisure Lodge in Hamilton Saturday March 3, 1979, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church with the pastor, the Rev. Albert Wuensche, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Riley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Raymond Kauitzsch, Hubert Kelm, Brent Bottlinger, Alton Bullard, Jerry Siepert and Lloyd Melde. . Rosentreter was born in Hamilton County Feb. 7, 1898. Her parents were W. C. Schrank and Emilie Bohlmann Schrank. She was a devoted housewife to Julius Rosentreter who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sisters: . Gertrude (Erwin) Bottlinger and . Esther Siepert, both of Hamilton.
