"Elsie Clara Klann
NILES -- Elsie Clara Klann, 84, of Niles, died at 10:18 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, Fla., following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Niles, with the Rev. Robert M. Zagore officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
, Klann was born April 1, 1915, in Milwaukee, to Gustov and Alvina (Hahn) Rosentreter, and lived; in Niles since 1945, coming from Baroda. She was a winter resident of Estero, Fla., She was a longtime, active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Niles and enjoyed various hand crafts. On June 30, 1934, in Baroda, she married Henry Eric Klann, who survives.
Also surviving are: daughters Elaine (David) Gibson and Jeanette (Henry) Warda, both of Niles; a son, Kurt (Rose) Klann of Niles; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters Edna Beimfohr of Lake Ariel, Pa., Evelyn Konya of Huntington, W.Va., and Betty Granke of Sawyer.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer, Adolph and Herman Rosentreter, and an infant brother, Raymond Rosentreter. From the Herald-Palladium, February 15, 2000, page 9
