My father, Janet Lynne Rosentreter's first husband, Joseph Alvin Gross Sr., was born on May 15, 1937, in Minneapolis Minnesota. My mother, Janet Lynne Rosentreter, later Janet Gross and now Janet Bott, was born January 14, 1940, in Oakland, California. I am their oldest child. I, Joseph Alvin Gross Jr., was born May 19, 1962, in Wurzburg, in what was then West Germany. My sister Jennifer Lynne Gross, who is on your site, was born December 2, 1963, in Libertyville, Illinois (Lake County). Pretty sad that I do not remember the correct spelling of my brother Jeff's full first or middle name, but his last name is Gross, and he was born in Des Plaines, Illinois (Cook County) on January 30, 1968. My youngest brother, Jason Anton Gross, was born May 15, 1972, in Park Ridge, Illinois (Cook County). We grew up in the Cook County part of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Buffalo Grove is about 30 mile northwest of Chicago, and is in both Cookc and Lake counties. The Cook County part is the older part of town. My parents grew up mostly in Lake County, Illinois, in the towns of Fox Lake, Long Lake, and McHenry, which is actually in McHenry County. I will get back with you with Jeff's correct full first and middle name spellings.
