It took place in Lodz on 03 (15) January 1882 at 5 pm. In the presence of witnesses: August Schulz, the bride's uncle, 47 years old, and Konrad Ioss, a cloth maker from Zgerz, 31 years old, today a religious marriage was concluded between:
Ivan Ludovik Hermann Rosentreter, a single, a local locksmith 45 years and 8 months old, born in Murovan Gomlin in Poznan, the son of the soap-maker Karl Rosentreter now deceased and his wife Matilda nee Schenck, who lives in Berlin (Mother),
and Amanda Emilia Meyer, a girl of 20 years and 4 months old, born in Niswa, the daughter of a locksmith Emil August Ferdinand and his wife Henrietta Wilhelmina née Schulz, the Meyers, who lives in Lodz at her parents. The permission of the bride's father is stated verbally.
This act is read aloud and signed, only the second witness is illiterate.
